Issue running Oracle Reports After upgrade from v6.x to v8.x

Detailed Description and Symptoms

the awrun script can be run from the command line and produces the report. When it is run through Applications Manager V8.0x however the report is not actually generated.

 

In the Output file of the job you will see similar:

In srwp.bat - Oracle Reports 10g

Investigation

The reason this issue occurs after upgrading is because all jobs now inherit a java environment from the AgentService.
The old "c" Agent just had the environment from running the sosite file.

Solution

-unsetting CLASSPATH

 

-create a prefix script for those specific jobs that will unset the CLASSPATH

 

-create a specific program type that satisfies the needs of running the oracle report jobs.
