How to change the email server for email notifications?

Environment

Release: All versions of AM
Component: Applications Manager

Resolution

Here are the steps:

1. On the Applications Manager client box, go to Object Admin>Administration>Agents and Edit the Master's Agent.  Click on the 'Email' tab and change the values as required.

2. Stop all processes on the Master machine (including awcomm).

3. Edit the awenv.ini file and change 'Smtp_host=',  'Smtp_port=', 'Smtp_email=' to match the values that were modified in Step 1.

4. Restart all processes.
