?How to create a dynamic calender object that will select the 3rd Tues of Every Month. This example can be used for selecting many different combinations of days.

Solution

?Here is how you can create a calendar to highlight the 3rd Tuesday of every month. 

 

1. Create a Weekly keyword. In the calendar definition, select "Every 1 week", and select "Tuesday".

This will highlight every Tuesday.

 

 

2. Create a Monthly keyword. In the calendar definition, select "Every 1 month", "In a defined interval", "every 1 day, counted from the beginning of the month, starting with day 15 and ending with day 21."

This will highligh everyday from the 15 - 21 of every month.

 

 

3. Create a group keyword. In the calendar definition, for the "A date is valid when at least one of the follwoing calendar applies:" select, this calendar and the MONTHLY keyword. For the "AND all of the following Calendar apply" Check the check box and select this calendar and the keyword of Weekly.

Save

 

 

This will then highlight the intersection of the two key words and only show the third Tuesday.
