How to use the PeopleSoft Domain Connection Password rather than an ERP Login

Can the PeopleSoft Domain Connection Password be used instead of an ERP Login?

Resolution

The Domain Connection Password is a new optional parameter with ServicePack 5:

Add the following entry to the Agent's .ini:

[PS]
;Domain Connection Password
DOMAIN_CONNECTION_PWD=

Once you've tested the password, you can use the Encryption tool (UCYBCRYP.exe) to encrypt the password.

The file UCYBCRYP.EXE is stored in the directory CD:TOOLS\ENCRYPT. Use the following parameters to enter the program via the command line:

UCYBCRYP[.EXE] -p -n Password

The file PASSWORD.UCC which contains the encoded password is created in the same directory. The encoded password can now be copied to the INI file.
