Detailed Description and Symptoms

When starting up the Service Manager Dialog for the first time after an installation you get a Windows dialog box that says:

<Automic path>\ServiceManagerDialog\bin\UCYBSMDi.exe

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.


Investigation
You have probably already attempted reinstalling the Service Manager Dialog and received the error again.

Solution
In this case, reinstalling the Service Manager Dialog will not help.  In order to run this component, Automic requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package.  This is found on the Operations Manager install image in the CRTS folder, or you can download it directly from Microsoft for free here:
