Issue/Introduction

Not able to see the Decision perspective when logged into the AutomationEngine

Environment

Release: WAASER99000-1.0-Automic Workload Automation-Services
Component:

Resolution

Detailed Description and Symptoms

When I view my ECC, I cannot see the Decision perspective when I log into the AutomationEngine. If I log into the ECC Decision, I can see the SLG and the Decision perspective.

Investigation

Decision mapping failed for user <user> at <AE>:100.
com.automic.decision.communication.authentication.AuthenticationException: Specified Automic system not found.

Debug logs show the lines:

DEBUG com.automic.webui.vaadin.framework.login.MainLoginController - Decision mapping failed for user <user> at <AE>:100.
com.automic.decision.communication.authentication.AuthenticationException: Specified Automic system not found.

Solution

This indicates a problem with the user mapping inside Decision.

Log into the Decision Modeling Studio Client.

Go to "Management" and in the User Management box, right-click 'Automic Integrated Authentication'.

Select the Automic System and make sure the 'System Name' EXACTLY MATCHES the system name in the ucsrv.ini file from the AutomationEngine.

Once this is done, the Decision perspective shows up.
