Detailed Description and Symptoms

How to prevent multiple copies of job from RUNNING simultaneously.

In Application Manager you where able to use the "Single Run" on jobs and process flows. What is the function in Automation Engine v9.0?

Solution

?In the Automation Engine v9.0, you can set a "Tasks running parallel" option.

In the Job or Process flow, edit the object. Open the Attributes tab. Under the "Tasks running parallel" section you can edit this option to only have 1 object running at a time. This would be similar to "Single Run" in Applcation Manager.

You can control this option to have a set number of parallel task running at one time.

You also have the control to have the secondary jobs Wait, which you will see the other jobs go into a "Waiting for end of parallel task(s)" status. Or have the secondary jobs Abort.
