Issue/Introduction

When installing the AM Master, cdinstall/awinstall fails with the following error:

Message 2100 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=ULMessage 2100 not found; No message file for product=RDBMS, facility=ULCould not complete sqlldr with C:\AppManager\tmp\STATIC.2248
err=1024
The system cannot find the file specified.

Cause

This error is usually a database (oracle) generated error with regards to the 'sqlldr' executable not being in the path. A similar error was seen if we ran 'sqlldr' directly from the command-line/shell on the Master machine.

Resolution

Some common solutions are to install (or re-install) the Oracle Utilities on the client machine, make sure the Oracle environment variables ($ORACLE_HOME, etc.) are set correctly. Also, in some cases install / re-install of the Oracle client is required. Please engage your Oracle DBA for further resolution.
