Detailed Description and Symptoms

After a SAP job has executed, when selecting "Last Report" only the "Job report" (if job executed successfully) is available in the REPORT window.  No other reports are displayed.

Investigation

Report tabs/ reports retrieved from the SAP system that were previously available in version 5.00A and 6.00A do not appear in the REPORT window of a SAP job object.

Examples:

1) There is no "Agent log" report available in the REPORT window for the job

2) No activation data is available in the "Activation" tab of the REPORT window.

3) When using BW_ACTIVATE* or BW_GET* script elements, which execute a task and saves information in the activation report – no report is available.

Solution

As of OM 8.00A, new report types are available for SAP jobs are available if XBP 3.0 is used: 

• Application logs
• Spool directory
• Step lists
• Statistics

These reports, along with the Agent Log, are activated by selection in the "Optional reports" section on the SAP tab.  The Agent log (and the new report types) includes some of the information that was previously available in the REPORT window tabs in 5.00A and 6.00A that was pulled from the Agent log.

Likely, the report information you are accustomed to receiving will be returned when the Agent log (or another report) is activated.
