Symptoms

Receiving the following prompt after loading the UC_UPD.TXT file to our Test database successfully.

U0038084 Processing Completed. Caution: If you use two or more users, you have to renew the roles of the UC4USER (privileges) and the synonyms.

Cause

If someone has more users for their UC4 database to enable different ways to access the database (e.g. an administrator, a read-only user and a UC4 user) they need to create synonyms for that. After a load this synonyms have to be renewed. This is just a reminder that this is not forgotten.

Resolution

This is just a reminder to not forget to renew roles of the UC4USER (privileges) and the synonyms.
