Sap Agents on Unix Systems end with Ended_Lost when ended by kill -TERM processnumber or kill -INT processnumber

Cause

 

The Sap Agent was started with the -XRS parameter in the startpath, this can lead to the Operating System ignoring the Kill Singnals.

NOTE! -XRS in the startpath of the Agent should only be used with SAP Agents on Windows Systems!

Resolution

 

.) End the Agent

.) Clear the -XRS from the Startpath

.) Restart the Agent
