Environment

Component:

Resolution

Detailed Description and Symptoms

?When a schedule is set on a job to run on the same day at a future time and then saved, its next run date shows up as yesterday's date.

Investigation

??Upon investigation this was identified as a java timezone problem. Customers using EST/PST timezones on the Masters drop down and awenv.ini files saw this problem.

Solution

In the AM GUI go to Object Admin->Administration->Agents->Edit the Masters Agent. Click on the 'Automation Engine Options' tab.Change the 'Timezone' dropdown to:

TZ=EST5EDT{GMT -5}

Following this, exit the client.

Also, modify awenv.ini and change the TZ variable as follows:

TZ=EST5EDT

Go ahead and stop/restart all the Masters processes, login to the GUI and test by saving a schedule on a job. The next run date should be the current date.
