This message appears in the PI agent log:

U2004007 Error 'function==null' in '/SBB/UC4_JOB_VERSION_CHECK' call

 

 

Investigation

After checking the connection object, click on the *remote Function Call* tab at the top. Then click on the *Interfaces* tab at the bottom. Check the *Interface version:* to 3.0. See if this is set correctly.

Solution

This is most usually caused by incorrect transport cases. Please have the Basis admin load the transport case(s) necessary from the latest SAP agent hotfix that is the correct version for your SAP system
