Versions
This article is good for all versions of Operations Manager and Automation Engine
Symptoms
When attempting to edit a schedule, the following is seen in a popup and the WP drops:
U0020568 Runtime error in object 'FRAGMENT_JSCH(GET)', line '00014'. DS return code '0001001711 DOM error: No more memory for 'DOMString' could be allocated' Error occurred in UCDSFUN at position 'Db2xml2'
Cause
At this point a cause is unknown. Reproduction with traces is needed (see Further Troubleshooting below)
Further Troubleshooting
This must be reproduced with more tracing than usual (please note: this tracing will fill up HD space quickly. If the issues is not a "DOMString" issue, do not use these traces unless otherwise told by Support):
Go to System Overview, AutomationEngine, right-click a single WP and choose Properties and change the following:
TCP/IP to 2
Database to 4
zuxml to 9
memio to 9
memsrv to 9
ucds to 9
Additionally we will need the following answered:
How much memory is available on the box where the WPs are located?
How much memory are the WPs using?
Workaround
Restarting the WPs should resolve this issue.
