Detailed Description and Symptoms

When running a FileTransfer, you receive the error message:

U0011420 Record length of more than '31744' bytes currently not supported.

Investigation

Check to see if the Format setting on the FileTransfer tab is set to "Text or "Binary".

Solution

Choose "Binary" rather than "Text" for the Format on the FileTransfer tab.  The reason for this is that the record size of "text" files to be transferred is currently limited to 31 KB.  Anything over this needs to be transferred in binary.
