Detailed Description and Symptoms
 
While logged into the AM Client (GUI) as the SQLOPER (DBA) user it is confirmed (Object Admin->Administration->Logins) that there is a JDBC and Program Login defined for use against the SunGard HE Banner agent.

However, when the Sungard HE Banner agent is edited, the dropdowns for both the 'Program Default Login' and 'JDBC Default Login' are grayed out and unavailable.

Investigation

- Confirm that the user logged into the AM client is SQLOPER or a user with a DBA role.
- Confirm that both the 'SunGard HE Banner Program Connection' and 'SunGard HE Banner JDBC Connection' logins are defined correctly.

Solution

Following the investigation, the following command needs to be run from the console (shell/command prompt) of the Master machine:

> awexe set_dba

Another alternative, is to re-run awinstall and then select option 1 (01 Initial Install/Upgrade from Prior version).
