I am installing Decision onto a new Windows 2008 64 bit server. When I launch the configuration manager or install.bat file I get an

Investigation

?UAC is turned off; .Net 4, the Microsoft C++ redistributible that came with the Automation Engine, and Java 1.6 are all installed.

Solution

?For Decision to work properly, the .Net 3.5 package needs to be activated or installed.  On Windows 7 and MS Server 2008 this is already a part of the standard installation, but you must activate it by going to Control Panel--> Uninstall a program--> Turn Windows features on or off and then select "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1"
