Issue/Introduction

TMSCOPY job abend U1005 RC=24, a rerun of the job asks for reply "C" and makes it working.

Cause

The reason of this abend is that the Control record 5 of the AUDIT data set is corrupted. This comes with an AUDIT blockset formatted data set and previous TMSCOPY abend.

Resolution

This case is related to a corrupted AUDIT CTL#5 record. The best way to fix it is to re-format a new AUDIT file AND to make it a non BLOCKSET Audit.
 
The Apar LU03975 is available. It detects the anomaly and issue a warning message when a BLOCKSET AUDIT dataset is used and one  
of the CPU entries in TMSCTL#5 may contain a CPU whose BLOCKID is significantly less than the Audit's NEXTAVAIL value.
