Message "U2000015 Periodical job test" appears in the Agent log
Cause
The 'U2000015 Periodical job test started.' checks to see if a job started through Automic is still running. It wil appear as long as a job is running on the Agent. Once the job reports back completed, it will stop checking. If it doesn't get a message back when it pings the job, it will cause the job to go into a ENDED_LOST status.
Resolution
This message means that it's checking to see if a job started through Automic is still running. It will appear as long as a job is running on the Agent. Once the job reports back completed, it will stop checking. If it doesn't get a message back when it pings the job, it will cause the job to go into a ENDED_LOST status.
No action needs to be taken.
You can how often it checks on the job by changing this variable: JOB_CHECKINTERVAL. Be aware that decreasing the check time does add overhead to the AE system and can hurt performance.
