Windows Agent will not start using Windows Services.

Windows Service does not allow Agent to start.

Investigation

Solution

It may be necessary to add a delay in the timeout settings.

To do this, edit the Agent's %AW_HOME%\site\awenv.ini file and add the following lines to the first section [default]: 

Agentservice_wait=120 

Awapi_wait=120 

This will allow the processes a little more time to start before the startup is aborted. Once those lines are in place, try to start the Agent from the Windows Service Manger.
