Symptoms

An ORA-20147: …. is generated when importing objects.

Cause

ORA 20147 error messages are generated when the object being exported or some of its components are in the back log of either the source or destination target.

Resolution

Ensure that the applicable objects are not in the back log for either the export or import portion of the process.
