Detailed Description and Symptoms

 

When trying to upgrade to version 8 and the Applications Manager Oracle User schema is on 9i you can sometimes have it hang on the aw_dependents script.

You will see the following and the upgrade will just hang indefinitely till you kill it.

Starting at 09/16/11 15:01:39 script aw_dependent
Finished at 09/16/11 15:01:39 Elapsed Time 00:00:00 script aw_dependents
