An AwE-9999 error is generated when clicking on a Banner process flow component.

Environment

Release: AAMOS499000-8.0-Automic Applications Manager-OS400 Agent
Component:

Resolution

Symptom

An AwE-9999 error is generated when clicking on a Banner process flow component.  This issue affects all RA Agent components and is not specific to Banner.

Cause

An AwE-9999 error is returned when clicking on a Rapid Automation process flow component. This same error can also occur when clicking Apply on a process flow with Rapid Automation components after adding a regular non-Rapid Automation process flow component.

Resolution

A fix for this behavior has been released in Service Pack 13 for Applications Manager 8.0, which was released April 1, 2014.

Workaround

1. Open a Process flow with RA jobs
2. Go to the Components tab
3. Select an RA component
4. Select the RA specific Sub-tab (i.e. Banner)
5. Select another RA component
