Question

 

Witchauthorizations do I have to give to the user, so the user can move objects and delete links?

Answer

 Inorder to move objects from folder to folder and to delete links, user must havefollowing authorizations:

 

1. User must be able to read and write folders (R,W)

2. User must be able to readobjects (In this case JOBS)  (R)

Links are not objects and user does not have to have Delete authorization on folder to delete links in it. Read and write authorizations are enough forthat action.

 

Thesespecific Authorizations could also be given for specific folders and objects.For example if we want that user can move only EXECUTIVE_JOBS object, then in column Name for JOBS object, instead of "*",we have to enter the name of the object, and in this case it is EXECUTIVE_JOBS.
