Detailed Description and Symptoms

 

When running awinstall, you can sometimes have it hang on the aw_dependents script.

You will see the following:
 

Starting at 09/16/11 15:01:39 script aw_dependent
Finished at 09/16/11 15:01:39 Elapsed Time 00:00:00 script aw_dependents

 

Solution

 

Edit the $AW_HOME/sql/aw_install.sql script to remove the seven references of "&2"
Re-run the install and it should work.
