Code table is being converted incorrectly in Filetransfer Objects

Article ID: 88473

CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine

Detailed Description and Symptoms

A code table may need to be changed if the provided code tables do not convert the character sets of an operating system or supported application correctly.  This occurs most often during an Agent to Agent FileTransfer; however, this may also occur during data transmission between the AutomationEngine and an Agent or during the preparation of data sequences.

Release: AOATAM99000-8.0-Automic-One Automation Tools-Application Manager

Code tables are displayed in the ASCII view when edited (default display mode – see illustration below).  A code table location is read (determined) by using the hex number of the column and then the hex number of the row. For example, the location of the asterisk (*) is 02x0A in the UC_CODE table (column 2x and row xA). This example can be used as a reference when determining a character's location.
