Symptoms

After configuring a DB login to communicate with the Tereadata DB jobs fail. 

The login object in the output file will show the type as other.

Cause

 

SQL script was being run against the Tereadata DB.

Resolution

Tereadata has its own interactive language, and will not work with SQL scripts. Converting the SQL script to BTEQ to resolve the issue.
