Installation of the Application Manager and it's local agent on Windows platforms encounter problems

Detailed Description and Symptoms

 

The installation is not able to complete successfully

 

Investigation
 

Please check that the user permissions are correctly set up as described in the documentation

 

Solution

 

Set up the permissions of a the user such as the ability to log on as a service and has file access to run the programs (the one of the automation engine and the one of the local agent).

If the user is member of a domain, it must belong to the administrator's group of this domain and must have right to act as part of the operating system

And then control that the DB user has got the all necessary permissions (have a look in the installation documentation to check if all the grants are performed correctly)

Also check if the DB client does have the "SQL *Plus" and the "Oracle Database Utility" installed
