SAP Job runs without error message when Login Object has the wrong credentials.
Example: We have set in the Connection (CONN) Object in Client 0 the CIPC user to "UserA" with a - Correct Password. And then we have set in the LOGIN Object the user client “UserB” with - wrong Password.
The expected behavior is that the job execution fails due the authorization check, however, it was executed without error.
Note: In case the password of the CPIC user in the CONN Object is wrong, the Jobs fail.
Environment
OS: All
Resolution
This behavior is intended and by design. The password from Login Object is not taken into consideration unless you check the "Login override" flag within the SAP Job Attributes.
