How does Automic know what the UTC time is?

The Automation Engine (AE) will look at the time zone setting in the server (where it was installed) to convert it to UTC.

The below document serves to introduce the basic terms regarding time in general and time in connection with AE:

The setting timezone for the client as below:

When you login into the client with the Java user interface. Navigate to the Options > Settings > Time format / Calendar .

In the Session time format section, you could add the Timezone Object into the Timezone. (You may need to create and define the Timezone object before).

So this will help your Client to take the time object which you want to define.
