When starting a Java Worker Process (JWP) through the Service Manager, it appears as either a Communication Process (CP) or Java Communmication Process (JCP). This could apply inversely as well.

Root Cause: The incorrect command is being used to start the JWP. This can be hard to note due to the similarity in start commands.

The incorrect command is being used to start the JWP. This can be hard to note due to the similarity in start commands.

JWP Start Command:
java -Xmx512M -jar ucsrvjp.jar -Iucsrv.ini -svc%port%

JCP Start Command
java -Xmx512M -jar ucsrvjp.jar -Iucsrv.ini -svc%port% -rest

The addition or removal of -rest will change the process started.
