"Duplicate to" creates links to original objects instead of copying them

When using "duplicate to" to copy a folder, the objects it contains will not be duplicated. Links to the original objects will be created instead.

Investigation

Example: Folder 'playground' contains a sub-folder 'Upgrade_checker' with various objects inside:

When using "Duplicate to" (right click on the folder > Duplicate / Link /move > Duplicate to...)

to copy it to another folder - 'DUPLICATE' in this example

The folder is duplicated and renamed to 'UPGRADE_CHECKER.NEW.1', but only links to the original objects are created, not actual copies.

Root Cause: Behavior is as designed to avoid negative impact on AE’s performance resulting from attempts to duplicate many objects at the same time.

Resolution

The behavior is as designed to avoid negative impact on the Automation Engine's performance as a result of attempting to duplicate numerous objects at the same time.  Use the workaround outlined above.
