Environment

CA Automic Applications Manager

Cause

 This error is commonly occurs after migrating an AM database schema. The pipe that was being used by the AM database use may have not been properly shut down

Resolution

The database should be restarted to properly release the pipe. Then CDINST or AWINSTALL can be run again.
