Attempting to open UI receive "U43099 The config file could not be found"

Error Message :
U43099 The config file could not be found. The stored values for the global parameters cannot be loaded.

When attempting to open the User Interface, the above error message below is displayed.

Root Cause: Invalid character in the uc4config.xml file.

Resolution

Go to the User Interface's bin directory and take a look at the file uc4config.xml.  This problem is usually caused by an invalid character somewhere in the .xml file or no existing .xml file.  This can include:

• characters outside of xml tags
• empty files
• missing ending tags in the .xml

Compare your uc4config.xml file with one from the UserInterface bin directory from an image of Automic and look for any tags or end tags that are missing or any additional characters outside of tags.
