Error Message :
The maximum number of 16 777 215 nodes in a document was exeeded

Unable to open a VARA object from the User Interface (UI) after performing a successful import using the tool ucybdbldg.exe and a transport file greater than 60MB.  After the import, using a Java User Interface client, attempting to edit the VARA object causes a delay and an error message similar to the one below is displayed.

This has been seen when using version UserInterface_Java_10_0_8+hf.1.build.533.

 

Cause

Cause type:
By design
Root Cause: This is a limitation of AE. An XML document must not exceed 16 Million nodes. Errors of this type can also pop up when accessing other big objects such as Workflows. This limit will be removed in a future verison.

Environment

OS Version: N/A

Resolution

An XML document must not exceed 16 million nodes, which is what caused the above symptoms. Errors of this type can also occur with other sizable objects such as very large workflows.

This is a current limitation within the Automation Engine that will be removed in a future version.
