Errors using One Installer when attempting a second install if first installation fails

If a installation with the One Installer fails, some steps must be taken before a new installation can be started, to avoid the following common errors:

The error pop up above shows a list of ports that are already used. In this case, check for running processes from the last installation. That might be ucsrvwp, ucsrvcp or most likely UCYBSMgr. On Windows use the Task Manager, on Linux the ps command can be used. Kill these processes. Care must be taken not to kill processes of already running systems.

If during the first installation attempt the initial data was already loaded, the second attempt will fail with the message above. In this case, the database should be deleted and recreated. The DBA should be contacted for this task.

Important: One Installer is not meant to install a production environment. It is meant for test or demonstration purposes, as it has very limited options.
