SQL Job does not read Connection Object

Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
Login failed for user ''. ClientConnectionId:7aefca88-2976-4ce0-9237-021cfb362dc5

A SQL Job with CONN object fails. The CONN object is not being read when executing the job. 

Errors similar to those are seen in the job log:
 

2016-12-30 15:20:32 - U2012031 The database driver returned the following error message:

Environment

Root Cause: Caused by running 9.00A Agent against Automation Engine version 10+

Resolution

This issue only happens if the version of the Agent is 9.00A and the version of the Automation Engine is v10, v11 or v12. Updating the Agent to match the Automation Engine version will resolve the issue.
