Environment

CA Automic Applications Manager

Cause

This error is generally caused when the script is trying to run the uncompress command but is not able to. The script only runs this command if it detects that it is installed on the system. If not found, the script will use a different extraction command. If a "which uncompress" command returns the location of the command, insure that the command is not symlinked to another command.

Resolution

Remove the symlink on the uncompress command and rerun the installation.
