AUTOMIC WORKLOAD AUTOMATION
Error Message :
Inactive Scheduled Tasks are stuck in 'Preparing' status. When an inactive task (JOBP) was being executed by a Scheduler (JSCH), it was ending with status ‘Preparing’, instead of ‘ENDED_INACTIVE_OBJECT’. When a workflow (JOBP) is set to inactive in the ‘header’ tab of the job definition it will show in a status ‘Preparing’ in the Schedule monitor instead of ‘ENDED_INACTIVE_OBJECT’. Steps to reproduce:
- Create a JOBP and uncheck the ‘active’ button on the Header tab.
- Add the JOBP to the Schedule and execute it.
- Notice the status in the schedule monitor. It shows ‘Preparing’ while the statistics of the job shows ‘ENDED_INACTIVE_OBJECT’ – Object inactive due to definition.
