Root Cause: The database Network Alias may be missing or may need to be removed.

Resolution

1. Run the awinstall script as the Applications Manager user.
2. When the script asks "is everything correct" select N.
3. When the script asks for the Net_Connect, fill in or remove the Oracle database Network Alias.
4. At the main menu, select option 1 "Install/upgrade..."
5. Let the script finish and restart Applications Manager.

Fix Status: No Fix

Fix Version(s):
N/A

Additional Information

Workaround :
1. Copy the default Oracle login object.
Rename it to <dblogin>@. The @ symbol will be stripped off to allow the copied login to use the same username.
Fill in the Network Alias for the Oracle Database or remove the network alias.
2. Assign this login to the Forecast job.
3. Run the Forecast job.
4. If the job does not Abort, assign this login to any job using the default Applications Manager Oracle db Login.

Alternatively, the $TWO_TASK variable may need to be set or removed.
