Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
Could not open the file named:
C:\temp\AEInstallImages\AutomationEngine_full\11.2\Automation.Engine_Image_11_2_15-12-18-1\AutomationEngine\windows\x64\SETUP.LST

SETUP.LST
The SETUP.LST file could not be copied - Setup cannot continue.

When running the setup.exe from the Automation Engine (AE) installation image, the installation fails and the following messages are displayed.

Automic Workload Automation 12.x

 

Cause

Cause type:
Configuration
Root Cause: File path is too long.

Resolution

Make the path shorter before running the setup.exe. 

For example, copy the ...\AutomationEngine\windows\x64 folder to the root of "C:\"
