Install fails with "Could not find import file STATIC.exp" error

Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
Processing IMPORT STATIC could not find import file STATIC.exp

Awinstall fails with the following error message:
 

Importing STATIC

Fatal Error occurred - check the log /home/qa4/user_tests/thk/v91/install/aw_install.log

A review of the $AW_HOME/install/awinstall.log shows the following:
 

IMPEXP IMPORT STATIC
Processing IMPORT STATIC
could not find import file STATIC.exp
*************** Import Failed **********************
Fatal Error occurred - check the log /home/qa4/user_tests/thk/v91/install/aw_install.log

Additional Information

Workaround :

1. Copy the $AW_HOME/import/STATIC.EXP file from another server that is on the same version and patch level.
2. Remove the $AW_HOME/data/extract_file.dat and re-run cdinst.sh from the installation media to extract the STATIC.EXP file.
