When attempting to start the WPs, an error shows in the logs: ORA-12514

Issue/Introduction

It is not possible to start the AE server and the following error appears.

U0003590 UCUDB - DB error: 'OCILogon', 'ERROR ', '', 'ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor'

Environment

OS Version: All OS

Cause

The Oracle database is unreachable.

Resolution

The solution is to make sure sure that the Oracle instance used by the AE server is reachable. Please check the section "ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor" in the following link for possible solutions.
