A user is logged in and opens its USER object for editing.

The function "Password never expires" is checked (see above). The window is closed. The user changes his/her own password as shown in the screenshots below:

After clicking OK in the dialog, when the user id is then opened for editing, the option "Password never expires" is no longer checked:
