Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
On the SMTP server (MS Exchange), the following error is found:
SMTPSEND.BareLinefeedsAreIllegal; message contains bare linefeeds, which cannot be sent via DATA

After an upgrade of the SMTP server to MS Exchange 2013, the emails sent from DUAS cannot to be delivered due to bare linefeeds.

No errors would show up on Dollar Universe log files, as the hand-over of the e-mail to the SMTP actually does work.
The problem occurs at a later stage within the SMTP server.

Workaround :
Some email servers support the ability to enable or disable bare line feed rejection.
Microsoft Exchange Server, for example, includes the Receive connector setting BareLinefeedRejectionEnabled.
If the email recipient is using Exchange Server, the admin could disable the BareLinefeedRejectionEnabled setting on the server's receive connector.
