Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
U00034004 The 'WP' 'AUTOMIC#WP002' with IP address: '10.0.0.1' port: '02272' cannot continue as the number of server licenses for 'Windows' are exhausted.

When the ucsrv.ini file points to a cluster with it's own hostname and IP address, the Java Worker Process (JWP) gives a licensing error similar to the one above when attempting to start.

The error does not appear if the ucsrv.ini file points to the localhost instead of the clustered environment.

Environment

OS Version: N/A

Cause

Cause type:
Defect
Root Cause: The JWP does not use the same interface as the other WPs for the connection to the PWP. This can cause a licensing error.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

Fix Status: Released

Fix Version(s):
Automation Engine 12.1.0 - Available
Automation Engine 12.0.3 - Available

Additional Information

Workaround :
Additional license keys have to be issued if they're not in the original license key.
