Deployment remote transmission connecting to the wrong IP address/hostname

Issue/Introduction

The IP address/host name defined under the System Registry, Network Locations / FTP locations is not being used during the remote transmission step of the deployment. This information shows up in the MessageLog of the remote transmission step.

This only occurs for Sysplexes. Note that the Sysplex that contains the systems/LPARs also stores the information for the first system defined in CA CSM for the Sysplex so this will only occur when deploying to the first system defined to the Sysplex:

Click the Network Locations tab for Sysplex PLEXC1 and you will see this:

The Host Name which also accepts and IP address must be changed here. Click the Actions button then edit to change it. It mustĀ also be changed for the first LPAR such as CA11:
