Search in AWI results in U00045014 Exception 'org.apache.lucene.index.IndexNotFoundException: "no segments* file found error

Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
Exception 'org.apache.lucene.index.IndexNotFoundException: "no segments* file found in [email protected]

Upon performing a search in the AWI, the following error appears in the Java Worker Process (JWP) logs:
 

U00045014 Exception 'org.apache.lucene.index.IndexNotFoundException: "no segments* file found in [email protected]/wla/Automic/Automation.Platform/AutomationEngine/bin/indexCache/3 [email protected]/wla/Automic/Automation.Platform/AutomationEngine/bin/indexCache/3: files: []"' at 'org.apache.lucene.index.SegmentInfos$FindSegmentsFile.run():864'.

Then a forced trace is generated:
 

U00003620 Routine 'com.automic.search.lucene.IndexSearch' forces trace because of error.

1. Stop all JWPs
2. Delete the folder structure 'indexCache'
3. Start a JWP
