The IO process becomes unresponsive if "Advanced calculation for scheduled Tasks" value is different than "No"

Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
In the job log of the Uproc within the Session that triggers the optional Task, status remains "Running"

In Advanced Settings, if the value of "Advanced calculation for scheduled Tasks" is set to anything but No, an Uproc in a Session remains in status "Running", even though its script completed.
Consequently, the following Uproc in the Session which is affected by an "Optional Task" is not executed.

Root Cause: When the node setting U_CAL_TIMEFORWARD is enabled, a lock on Optional Tasks prevents process uxjobend from finishing.

Resolution

Upgrade the Dollar Universe to version 6.8.21 or superior.
From this version, the "Advanced calculation for scheduled Tasks" can be enabled.

Additional Information

Workaround :
As soon as the issue occurs, the DUAS node needs to be restarted in order to restore the service.
As a permanent workaround, the "Advanced calculation for scheduled Tasks"  needs to be set to "No" within the Advanced Settings section of the Node Settings
