Online backup (uxbck uni) fails returning "command in error"

command in error!!

On Unix/Linux notes where the uxioserv process is started by any other user other than root, the online backup fails systematically with the above error.

Root Cause: Some folders/files on the Dollar Universe directories lack correct permissions for the user starting the uxioserv process.

Resolution

Give read and execution permissions to all the files and folders existing in the Dollar Universe directories to the user starting the uxioserv process.

Additional Information

Workaround :
Start the Dollar Universe node as root.

In order to do so:

1. Load the environment and then stop the node:

$UNI_DIR_EXEC/unistop 

2.  Assign the correct permissions of the Dollar Universe files/folders to the user root:

$UNI_DIR_EXEC/uxrights -m assign -a root 

3. Start the node:

$UNI_DIR_EXEC/unistart
